@eugeneosentoski You don't how large is the piece? Round? Square? Commercial frame or self-made? GENERALLY, you won't need extra reinforcing but it will depend on the size/shape of the piece and quality of the frame

Other Thoughts
I coated it with primer and cured it in the kiln according to the suggestions that came with the mold before I fired glass on it. The result was great! A smooth bottom without a trace of kiln wash

I am absolutely blown away by this! Absolutely gorgeous! Wonderful technique. I know what it's like to keep a piece of glass for a long time and "save" it for just the right opus. And you certainly chose well. Bravo!

Great choice of glass! Lovely execution

Pros
This product is easy to use and a good texture. The best part for me is the absence of fumes. I am disabled and extremely chemical and fume sensitive. I cannot use most adhesives because of the fumes they generate. But this one has no fumes that bother me.
