Lady Rainbow

Fused and coldworked System 96 glass.  The face is formed with a piece of clear glass fused onto the double-thick clear base.  The rainbow "hair" is, of course, separate pieces of glass also fused onto the base.  The area on the reverse side of the face is sandblasted to provide some contrast.  The facial features (lips, eyelashes, eyebrows, etc) and the facial shading are Reusche glass powders applied and fired onto the glass.  Dimensions (glass only, not including the stand): 20.5" wide, 12.25" tall.
