Water Rising

  Original outdoor sculpture, 34 " long x 36" high x 15 " wide. Metal armature with foam ,fiberglass and cement form, overlayed with many colors and patterns of hand cut  and shaped stained glass. The tail and mane especially were a challenge to cut glass to follow the twisting shapes of the sculpture. Base and Bird remove from the horse  and all are built to last outdoors. This sculpture was my way of representing the idea that life developed as a way for water to move around more!
