Community Tank

This was a commissioned piece for a friend.  The pattern design was based on an internet photo of a freshwater tank with Discus and I added an Angelfish.  The design was developed using Illustrator. The foiled work is primarily Spectrum and Kokomo glass with 140 pieces and took about 60 hours to complete. The piece is 18 inch diameter in a purchased frame.   The two pictures show the piece backlit and front light to show the different hues in the Discus fish.
