Peacock L'Orange

I named this piece Peacock L'Orange because of the orange frit and orange glass pieces I used to line the outside border. The piece is 12" x 12". I printed a pattern of a peacock off an internet site and used it to cut pieces of glass to form the peacock. I made it larger than the pattern that I originally printed. I used all 90 COE glass and frits. I tac fused the piece. My husband made the metal stand. He welded metal pieces together, painted it, and added rubber tips to protect the glass and surface it sits on. Every piece I create in glass, has to include my "signature" heart. In this piece, the "heart" is the top of the peacock's head.
