Landscape Window 72 X 36

This hand foiled Landscape Window features a serene stream and quiet sky  and measures three feet by six feet.  It features hand foiled Tiffany style leading and also the use of layering or stacking glass in several areas to give depth to the rocks and water.  I started the project in Late July 2010,  Was in a serious auto accident in early august which put me home recouping for several months. At which time I moved the project from my basement studio to the dining room table.  I Made a sturdy 4x8 plywood work surface to put on top of the dining room table and started back to work at the window. This accident being on duty ( I am a Police officer) I used this window project as sort of therapy to keep my mind off of the broken leg. I was able to finish the window on November 29, 2010. one week later I was sent back to work at the desk ( sedentary duty). I will install the window in my stairwell as soon as I am completely healed.  It is the largest and most beautiful window i have done yet.  Who says good things can't come from misfortune??
