Hope Floats

This sculpture is green aventurine glass and juniper wood. The wood was collected from my property and simple choice of glass and design evolved from the shape of the wood. The pattern was made by placing strips of fiber paper under the glass when it was fused. A neat line of bubbles occurred just above the curve. This was an unexpected but delightful result.
