Description:
This Log Cabin is the size of a Doll house. It took me many, many hours to make. I had to make all of the furniture patterns and put them together in card paper first in order to tweek the patterns before making them in glass. The whole thing is designed and made by me. It was a challenge to say the least, but I love 3D glass work and I was up to it. I used mostly Spectrum glass. I was taught by a man, "Linwood" how to wire and lite it. He used to make doll houses from wood, etc. So even the fire is lit in the evening. Even the rocking chairs are balanced and rock. I even made fire place tools from copper wire. It is hard to see, but there is a great deal of details throughout. I am excited to enter it in this years contest! My Photographer is Tom Simko.
