This panel represents the river by our cabin in Northern Michigan.  Panel is 18x33, It is an adaption of a Carolyn Kyle designed by Christopher Martin and Jackie Estes.  I redrew it omitting the grist mill,simplifing the foilage and replacing the deer. Most of the choosen glass is Youghiogheny, surrounded by double bevels to add sparkle and green wissmach accents. Its patina is copper with a copper came boarder. there are over 500 pieces, it took about a year to complete.I am a recently retired art teacher with some experiance in glass. This was a challange as no two pieces are alike , a great deal of time was devoted to choosing natural coloration.
