This project was inspired by a photo from my Uncle Bob. My sister saw a photo of the small valance he made from his own design and I said "I can build that". It tuned out to be a larger project than expected. The small one is 11 inches high and 44 inches long. The longer one is also11 inches high, but 84 inches long. I still have one more to make.

@Delene E. The panels are reinforced with brass rod at the top and also have 14 gauge wire running from top to bottom in 4 equally spaced locations across the panel. These wires are looped at the top. The walls have 1" x 2" boards attached to them with hooks to mount the panels. The panels are removable. But I don't recommend taking them down too often :-)

Very creative. Because of the weight and length did you have to use extra support for the glass and also for the wall?
