Tulip in Yellow-Stained Glass

T ulips are so cheerful! That is what I tried to capture with my yellow version. It stands 15 1/2" tall and the flower is 3 1/2" across. The stem is copper with a mottled verdigris finish. It is complete with pistol and stamens. Ah, if I could only infuse the glass with that fragrance.

This tulip would be beautiful in a vase, or poke into the ground in your garden. Just be sure to pull it up in the winter as you would tender bulbs.
