Wedding Tree

This piece was lovingly made by my mother for my wedding in February 2010.  Taking many hours of design and assembly work, it is made with beautiful brown art glass and clear semi-antiqued glass and framed behind an old six-paned window.  It measures 36 inches tall by 18 inches wide.  Some pieces were cut by hand and some done with a ring-saw, and the window was assembled using copper foil and solder.  It has now become the centerpiece, namesake and logo for our mother-daughter stained glass business, Glass Tree Design Studio.  With over thirty years of experience in working glass, my mother has now taken me in as her apprentice of sorts, so the skills and creativity can be passed to the next generation.  We are happy to share this beautiful family heirloom with you, and sincerely hope you enjoy it!
