Arcadia Window Design

I designed this window for a friend of mine, for her 50th surprise birthday party. While sitting at her dinning room table one night I got the crazy idea to make her windows to go with her Arcadia, wallpaper border.  I usually create window patterns using Frank Llyod Wright as my inspiration, so this was a real challenge for me.  At that time I did not have a studio to work in so I was in our small 2nd bedroom working. When I almost finished cutting the pieces for the 2nd window, my little kitten ran in and knocked my table over with all the glass on it!!! Mostly all the glass in the middle broke, which of course was the hardest for me to cut and grin, had to buy new glass and basically start over. They took many months to complete, but the results were worth every minute of it. 

When she walked into her house, she almost fell on the floor when she saw the windows; it was cherished moment that I will never forget.
