Green Shimmer

 Green Shimmer is the creation of Paducah, Kentucky artist Michael Oehlschlaeger. The miniature wire and glass tree stands 6" tall and is 6" wide. It is made of pressed peridot AB Czech glass leaves, bright copper wire, and it is mounted on a highly polished thin aqua green slab of Brazilian agate. There is a unique small crystal indentation on the agate that adds to the elegance of this tree. When viewed at different angles, the AB glass leaves shimmer various colors of the aurora borealis, thus the glass is aptly named AB for this shimmering effect.
