Burnham Boats

'Burnham Boats' is based on the many sailing boats that can be seen in Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex, UK, which is near to where I live. The design is copper foiled with sails that are curved and slumped in the kiln to emphasise the illusion of the boats travelling through the waves with sails billowing in the wind.
