Chief Seattle- Triptych By Jody McLean

The raven spirit and the words of wisdom from "Chief Seattle" (an Anglicization of Si'ahl) are created in glass fusion panels. 33x20" Artist- Jody McLean

The panels were created with new technique using lithografic inks and glass frits. Images were printed onto several glass sheets, fired and hand colored with glass. They were then cut, layered  and re-fired multiple times, creating a new image. I had a steel clip and bracket fabricated to hang the panels. A combination of opal and tranparent art glass manufactured at Bullseye Studios was used.
