S'Klallam women weaving on the beach, with their warrior spirit (c-1940). The S'Klallam Tribes(means-strong people) Are a Nation of people  who live on the lands now know as the Olympic Peninsula in the State of Washington.  11x16" mounted on a maple board.

I created this art piece with a new technique using lithografic inks and glass frits. Images were printed on several glass sheets, fired and hand colored with glass. The glass was cut, layered and re-fired multiple times creating a new image. I used a combination of opal and transparent glass from Bullseye Studios.
