"Horses in a Pasture" by Mari Leppard

   To create the "Horses in a Pasture" stained glass project, I took pictures of my show horse and his younger sister to use for the horse patterns. The horse in the foreground is mesmerized by the fox in front of the stone wall, while the other horse is content to graze in the meadow. The rest of the project was not completely designed with a pattern, but more as a random construction in my minds eye. Along with stained glass, I used an agate in the big tree and some glass beads for the flowering bushes. The completed framed project measured 36 inches by 30 inches high.
