Mardi Gras Jester

This piece was designed after a Mardi Gras poster.  I made it to look like a portrait.  I used purple, green, and gold mirrower glass for the banner and for the collar of the costume, and Blue and Gold Van Gough Glass for the hat.  The face was painted by hand and fired several times.  There are gold, green, blue, yellow, and irridecent red glass nugets glued on to simulate Mardi Gras Bead. It measures 34" x 36".
