Life Is A Gift

This panel is a custom creation that I designed myself, based on what the customer (my dad) requested.  Dad had a bout with cancer, and during his recovery, he requested that I make a panel for him with the phrase “Life is a gift…make each day count”.  He also likes the sun face from the television show “CBS News Sunday Morning”.  This is the design I came up with. 

There are over 260 pieces, and the overall size is 30 x 18.  The panel was done in copper foil with a zinc border, and is hanging in dad’s office.  It results in many positive comments from his co-workers and customers.
