Recycled Glass Wine Bottle Glass Jewelry

Using both glass found from broken and chipped antique drinking glasses in cobalt and ruby red, and wine bottle glass in different colors, I processed the glass into usable frit and either free formed it, or put it into pendant molds of different sizes, where it was then fused in my glass Paragon kiln. I experimented with different firing schedules to get the different effects pictured here. Sometimes I would use my glass saw and my Foredom drill with diamond bits to cut and carve the pieces into the shapes I desired.  Some pieces took 3 firings to achieve the finished look. I like to use Argentium silver to both wire wrap my pieces and for chains whenever possible. My theme for these pieces is use the broken pieces of your life to create something beautiful.
