Church Glass Flower

I have been doing mosaics for about 7-8 years. My mother-in-law, knowing that I enjoy mosaics, gave me a couple of boxes full of stained glass that came out of St Joseph Catholic Church in our home town. They took it out of the church several years ago and put in custom made stained glass window scenes of the life and death of jesus christ. I decided to make a platter using the glass because of it's vibrant colors and textured look. I plan on making other projects with the special glass including 2 vases for the church to use on the altar.
