odd man out

Old glass re-imagined.

I wanted to take my recycled glass to a new level, literally, from your neck to your wall.

Scrap wood was used to create the frame, wire mesh from an old screen door is the background. A pasta sauce jar and old aqua blue drinking glasses were cut into small pieces and fused in fiber paper molds that I made to create the 9 glass circles.

The 9 recycled glass circles are mounted to the wire screen using silver plated wire and the frame is painted white.
