Luka stretches fully 3' x 2', comprising recycled pieces of broken china and ceramic crockery, shards of mirror, and red and black glass including pieces discarded from other works of mine including "La Muerta" and "Jabberwocky."

The face staring back at you through closed eyes and speaking with silent lips is Carol.

Luka is the largest piece in the upcoming Fractured Landscapes show appearing at the Gaslight Art Colony (www.gaslightartcolony.com) in Marshall, Illinois May-June, 2011.
