Pine Cone on recycled glass

This glass piece was from a large ceiling light fixture.   The paints are an acrylic paint called Folk Art Enamels which is baked.  The panels is painted on both sides.  I hang it from double narrow ribbon.  The slightest breeze starts it spinning.  It is one of my favorite repurposed pieces of glass.  On some of these pieces, I have foiled and soldered the edges using a decorative solder technique.  I keep the silver color which adds an additional bling as the sun reflects off both the solder and the beveled edge.      S.
