Cheery Snowman Platter

This Snowman platter is one of my fused glass creations in my Christmas line.  It is approximately 13" in diameter.

My Snowman platter has been in the kiln at least 4 times.  First, I fused 2 pieces of Spectrum 90coe glass to form the platter blank.  The next 2 or 3 firings were to tack fuse the snowman pieces to the blank, adding detail in each successive firing.  I made the dichro dots (for details)  in my kiln previous to these firings.  I used Bullseye 90coe thin glass for the large pieces of the snowman.  The final firing was the slump into the platter mold.
