I fused glass to make a stocking ornament to hang on the Christmas tree.
Colors used were red, green, blue, yellow - some were solids, clear, or swirled patterns. They were accented with white for the top cuff, the heel, and the toe. I cut the various shapes and lightly glued them together to form a stocking. I had inserted a high temp wire between the two glass pieces to form a hanging loop at the top. I then fused the stocking.
After fusing, I did some hand work to smooth any rough edges. I also made a thin gold wire squiggle which I attached to the hanging loop for additional decoration. This stocking ornament was well recieved at a local craft fair.
I wasn't sure to enter this piece in the 'kiln formed glass' or the 'other craft' category.
