This original fine art glass piece was created by Douglas Taylor Jr. in the Morean Arts Center’s Hot Shop & Glass Studio in downtown St. Petersburg, FL during a glass blowing demonstration. This piece has a spiral of thick bands of lime green and bold blue and measures 17” in diameter at its widest point x 6.5” tall. The artist fused two different colors of solid rod glass together into the optic mold creating a spectacular twist of blues and greens that add a burst of color to anyone’s home!
