Snowflake

Snowflake was born on July 8, 2011. She is made of fused glass and features hand painted details. Her whiskers, tail, and legs were constructed from recycled wire. She also features a hand made collar and id tag.

A few years ago I lived in an apartment complex where A LOT of cats hung out. Apparently, years earlier there was an old man that lived there who owned most of those cats. When he died, his family kicked them out. Some of the cats were adopted by neighbors, while others continued to live outside. They were all feed and care for though, and I especially enjoyed their company. Snowflake was inspired by one of the white kitties that liked to hang out near my apartment.
