Butterfly Wings or Trees?

This vessel was created using a clear base glass that was shaded with orange and red powder frit and fused.  The overlay of butterfly wings (or trees... you decide) was made by creating the design in a mixture of black and powder frit over a pattern created in shelf paper and then fired. The extremely delicate wafer was then tack fused to the base glass giving it lots of texture and dimension.
