Mermaid's Rising

This panel was inspired by a drawing I came across a while back. I love mermaids and faeries and am constantly drawing them out for a new panel. This panel measures at 13 3/4" x 18". I used clear rain glass so that depending on the time of day she either has the moon or the sun rising behind her. I used a very textured green and brown streaky for her tail which adds a wonderful effect for making it look wet.
