I made a mold to slump the glass strips so they could be used as the "warp" for a glass weave. The "weft" are strips that are fired in the kiln to round the glass edges and ends. The glass is then woven and placed back in the kiln and tack fused. The completed project is then fired again in a hand made slump mold. Time consuming and challenging, but fun!
