Tribal Dreams

Fused glass basket constructed with Bullseye 90 COE glass, recycled telephone wire, and trade, vintage and other glass beads. Two different styles of 'tiles' were added as a decorative element. The first slab was made with stringers, and the second with liquid stringer. The slabs were then cut into squares, and fused onto a circle base with nichrome wire between 2 layers. After fusing and slumping, the piece was woven with plastic-coated recycled telephone wire and beads.
