Chess Table

This is a chess table I made for my son. We were both out shopping one day and came across this table that had a recessed area. Of course my first thoughts were to do a mosaic in it. After months of planning the design I finally completed it in time for his birthday. It contains opaque stained glass pieces cut, ground, glued and grouted along with glass gems.
