Octagonal Stained Glass Dome

We had the builder of our new home leave a 4' by 4' octagonal hole in the ceiling above the kitchen. We then constructed and installed an octagonal stained glass dome recessed into the ceiling. The dome has a total of 1252 pieces. It consists of 25 panels installed in a dome-shaped black coated steel frame. The panels are held in place by gravity. The dome can be viewed from the home entry as well as the living room and family room.
