Transom

Description:

Pattern designed by myself and framed by my husband. The window is 18" x 59" framed in oak using peppermint baroque, blue and purple waterglass, bevels and round purple faceted jewels. Construction included both lead came and foil. The corner bevels have butterflies engraved on them. Bevels, jewels and most of the glass were from Delphi. The transom doubles as valance with a rod for sheers on the bottom edge (not currently used) for a large picture window in a victorian/traditional living room/ dining room. A matching window is planned for the twin picture window to have orchids in the center instead of roses.
