Veggie Patch

Veggie Patch is carved from polystyrene foam, with several layers of custom cement mixes and fiberglass mesh. He is completely covered with glass mosaic, depicting a garden scene with vegetables, flowers, insects, and blue sky. I mainly used 3/4 in glass tile, nipped into quarters, triangles, and ovals. It was a wonderful project, and has inspired more sculptural creations.
