Covered Wagon...

"Covered Wagon, Dreams of the Frontier" This ceramic, stone and found object mosaic is about the women who traveled west on the pioneer wagon routes, and the contrast between the harshness of the journey and the gentle strength with which they persevered through the hardship and loss along the trail. It was my first mosaic piece, and was completed in 2007.
