Microscopic beauty

This 24x24 inch panel was designed for a professor studying tiny microscopic organisms named ciliates. Different families of ciliates are depicted in the six fused tiles that are set in the leaded panel. At the bottom a tiffany-style DNA helix is added to emphasize the family relationships between the ciliates.
