Dish Daisies

My inspiration for this 24" x 36" panel came from a previous smaller version I donated to a local Ohio Goodwill fund raiser called RecreArted where artists were asked to create something new using something old. After shopping at local antique and second-hand stores, I ended up with quite a collection of antique glass dishes, crystal from chandeliers and old glass gems. The construction is somewhat tricky since the dishes have to be soldered in last. My ring saw also came in very handy.
