The Accolade

Panel is 21x30 unframed. Brad, my husband inspired me to make this panel. Four years prior he gave me for our anniversary a print of a picture titled "The Accolade" by artist Edmund Blair Leighton. For our recent anniversary I made for my husband this panel by using the print as a basic pattern. Several alterations were made to the print copy in order to put in a glass form. In the future we plan to construct lighting behind the panel to show off the vibrant colors of the glass.
