Greg and Shawn Union Celebration

This fused glass sushi plate and sauce dish combination was designed specifically for two close friends.  When visiting my friends in China, I was inspired while returning to the airport by the striking red sun in the gray sky.  I layered white/black/gray COE 96 glass with a red "dot" and full fused the piece.  Then I added black stringers crossed by white noodles to represent the crossing of cultures.  I full fused the piece again and finally slumped them into my molds.  I wrapped them with a set of chopsticks I purchased on the China trip.  The results were a personalized set of 4 glass gifts to two very special people.
