Description:
This is a modified design from something that I found in a book at my stained glass teacher's studio. When I first moved to America my husband and I lived near Napa, California so I wanted to make something that reminded me of my first home in America, and I wanted it to be as realistic as possible with stained glass. Some of the leaves have scalloped edges that I made by cutting the copper foil with specialty craft scissors. I also used lots of different cabochons for the grapes to give it depth. It was a lot of hard work to grind them all down and get them fit correctly into the piece, but the end result was well worth it. Measures 17" X 20"
