Herons Hunt

This panel is prompting an across the country road trip for my husband and I to take it from our studio in Indiana to Utah for its final installation. I purchased all of the glass for this creation at Delphi and fell in love with the Youghiogheny cobalt glass for the sky which then led me to redesigned the colors for the entire panel. The water is Spectrum Blue Yonder, the land Urubos granite. I designed the pattern by combining a pattern from Glass eye 2000 software and a pattern I had made before from a stained glass pattern book. There are over 300 pieces in the completed panel. A neighbor is custom making a wood frame to be installed when we arrive. Finished panel will be 47.5 x 36.5 Thanks for sharing the journey, Karen
