Rock Fish

I love the 3-dimensional aspect of this piece—both in the background and its free-standing ability. Using clear frit inside the framework of a blue opal base, I embedded the copper foil track and preliminary musical notes (stringers, dichroic and torch work). During a second full fuse, I encased additional musical notes, adding more depth to the piece. The dancing fish and musical instruments I made separately and then added separately along with more musical notes. Finally, the entire piece was slumped on a 13-inch S-Curve.
