Blue Agate

This stained glass piece is 21 x 23 (not including the protruding agate). The agate is 9 x 11. It is leaded, with the nuggets done in copper foil and inserted into the lead channel. I attempted to make them look as if they were cascading down to the bottom, and then to the center bottom. There is some silver in the center of the agate, so I used a type of rippled mirrored glass diagonally to the right and the left of the agate, and have used that glass in other places in the piece. I have been doing stained glass since Spring, 2006.
