Fala Remembered

I made this for the tribute that Warm Springs, Georgia has every year for Fala... President Roosevelt's dog. They have a "scottie" fest and this prompted me to do this piece. It is about 24 inches by 28.5 inches with rootbeer glass borders and 4 inch beveled corners. The background is glue chip glass and the dog only has true black for the nose and the eye. I used the grain and color variations in this glass to attempt to give life to the fur. The black patina did not show up well in the light.
