Salmon Splash

This is a fused glass piece I made with Bullseye glass. The jumping salmon is made mostly with opaque, iridized glass. The salmon is jumping out of the water which is made with several different glass types, including a Bullseye Saturday Glass, many different water colored frits, and is cut to give the appearance of movement on the surface of the glass. I used frit to create the splashing water and it turned out awesome!

I have been working with glass only since July of 2011 but I absolutely love it!
