Gorgeous

This is the first large piece I have done using reinforced lead. I started the piece using the pattern in the book. My DIL and I drew changes to the pattern to customize it to our liking. I had just a few pieces of textured art glass that were given to us as "scrap" that ended up being barely enough for the dress and headband. Armstrong Wispy glass was grainy and perfect for her hair. Another piece of wispy ivory contained detail that is easily seen as her eye in the finished piece. My husband proclaimed her "Gorgeous" saying that it was the only appropriate name for her.
