This is the first of a series of four panels called The Four Elements that flow from one into the next. This panel is FIRE done in copper foil. The overlays are also copper foil. Eventually I'll complete the series with WATER, AIR & EARTH. The panel measures 18" x 32" in a 2" solid oak frame made by my husband. It is mounted above our kitchen cabinets with backlighting. Each of the next three will also be mounted as they are completed.

@newviewartglass .....Thanks for the kind words but I have to confess that the design is not my own. The four panel series was originally designed by artist/s at Glass Reflections Studio of Fort Lauderdale, FL for a local church. They are hugh internal windows in the wall separating the entry gathering space and the sanctuary. Since they were pictures in a publication of their works, not a pattern book, I contacted the studio owner for permission to copy the designs on a small scale for my personal use. My panels are following the intense colors of the artist's original concept drawings as closely as I can. The church committee requested some subtle design changes and more subdued colors. Intense or subdued in color, the finished panels are beautiful. Photos of both the artist's concept drawings and the finished installed church windows can be found in two different printings of Windows of Elegance Vol. 2 by Wardell Publications.

Love this piece. Art work is some of the best I have seen. Not cut from a pattern book. Wonderful color and design.
